Shah Rukh Khan: Will come at Cannes to represent India with more beautiful films
It has been reported that Shah Rukh Khan was recently in the French city, Cannes, to attend a big fat wedding and was feeling quite nostalgic as well as hopeful at the beautiful destination known for its world-famous film festival. The superstar tweeted, "At Cannes after years memories come flooding back of Devdas. Insha Allah will come here to represent India with more beautiful films.”
His 2002 blockbuster Devdas got a special screening at the Cannes International Film Festival in the same year. Over the years, Indian films and film personalities have become regulars at the global film fest, which is usually organised in May every year. The King of Bollywood, Khan, along with other celebrities from the film fraternity including Tusshar Kapoor attended the grand wedding ceremony of Kunal Grover, son of British socialite Pamela Grover, with Ria Dubash at the French tourist spot. Pamela is said to be enjoying close friendship with Bollywood biggies like Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri, Rakesh Roshan, Neetu and Rishi Kapoor and many others. Interestingly Tusshar got his first opportunity to visit Cannes. He tweeted, "In Cannes now for a big fat Indian destination wedding, both for the first time! Still getting used to all the paraphernalia! (spelt correct?).”
